PlayAirsoft Update — Winter 2025

As we look forward to the first days of spring, our team has been hard at work throughout the last few weeks to bring you some significant updates to PlayAirsoft, most notably: the check-in system.

Check-in to locations

Having an up-to-date directory of UK airsoft sites was a great start for us, as we didn’t expect it to become so popular among players. Naturally, the next step was to build on this by adding player-generated activity.

From now on, once signed in to PlayAirsoft you can check in to airsoft sites you frequent. We hope this will help you track your activity (private to you) and frequency of play, and help people see how active are specific locations.

Note: To prevent spam and abuse, we’ve limited check-ins to once per day. We hope you’ll use it responsibly!

Player profiles

Starting today, anyone can create their public player profile, complete with some basic details and a picture, and showcase your most frequented airsoft sites.

We’re hoping this will be a starting point for more social features, which we have been thinking about for a while now. If you want to give them a try, head to our sign-in page and enter your email address to sign in via a magic link (no passwords required).

Our roadmap is packed with things we want you to get your hands on. Since we have to be pretty selective, we’ll be looking to our community to help us decide what to work on next.
